buying an escort cosworth
hi everyone.
after finishing restoring my s2 last year, im thinking of buying an escort cosworth, always wanted one since being a kid.
i would like a small turbo model and would have a budget of £15000.
so what sort of car will i get for £15000 ?
im worried that all im going to get for £15000 is a scabby car that going to need an expensive rebuild in the near future and give me alot of trouble
please tell me other wise as i absolutely f****ing adore these cars.
thanks in advance Ryan

thanks, would you recommend buying one from a dealer or private ?.
i know the obvious answer but after spending 15 grand, i wouldnt have the money to be throwing thousands of pounds at the car on repairs.
thanks again

An RS Specialist dealer for peace of mind or Private if you know what to look for or someone who does.
Most of the time you can tell how a car has been looked after by the owner. Worth looking at a few at the bottom end of the price scale £10k etc then move up from there. That way you can see where your extra money is going.
