Default How many people have bought new 18" Escos alloys

Have they really taken off, I have only seen them fitted to Marks Concours imperial car and the original red show car??
Is there any more, if not whats putting people off, the finish, the price????

yours is far too hard looking for them kelv.but as far as the rim goes i thought it looked good quality and finish when i saw them at ford fair.
i'd just be dubious on how strong they were myself.

I was going to buy some but was put off by the fact you'd need to run with spacers to clear big brakes. bit of a design flaw imo

plus they're not as dished as the original 16" wheels and look too much like the mondeo versions

Ł1295+vat seems a bit steep for 4 wheels to me but if Paul had not made the mag replicas i think i may have bit the bullet and got some.

As Dave said they defo need spacers though for brakes and just to fill the arch better which aint ideal

i thought they looked nice in 18" the only thing i noticed straight away was the centre caps seemed to stick out slightly and didnt fit quite right, other than that they looked spot on be no good for my car though brakes are too big.
ive been thinking of new wheels for a long time now but just havnt seen anything i like, would have to be 19" or 20" and a bit on the bling side though ,anybody got any ideas..?

Mine will be keeping the Genuine Rondell's on it as they are the perfect wheel for the Escort, nothing else even comes close

Like someone has said above, the dish is nowhere near deep enough for the size of the rim, they would need to be close to 10" wide to look good IMHO, considering the original wheel was 16"x8" ... The ratios are all wrong on the 18" ones , look like mondeo Si rims

depends on the style of the car imo,the rondell looks nice and suits pretty escorts but i think mo's look the best on the ones that look that bit tougher

maybe the fella doing them is over whelmed with orders
and can't keep up, some people are like that in buisness

maybe its easier not to respond than commit yourself to more orders.

from what i saw a FF, every one liked them or had a good butchers
