Default one more ecos of th road

wat a day started of beating an evo5 and then an impreza great so headed of to do bit of shopping and some W....K..R pulled right out in front of me so my ecos is lying in street smashed which was meant to get my new 400BHP engine fitted next week and then my insurance company is tryin to say i wasn't insuranced can things get any worse

cheers lads hopefully get it al sorted some time , REDRSMK5 over ere th insurance is VERY dear and its th fact i don't be out in car as always workin away down in dublin but when i insured my mondeo my insurance company told me that i would be covered to drive any car as long as th car not registered to my name and tax even my friends double checked to be sure i thought great cause don't use it much but was planning to insure after cause was gona use it ful time but too late i guess so much for insurance company its word

will try and get some pics up tomro but don't think ill be fixin it..

its needs pulling for start so prob sell it th way it is but will be few months before i no wat i doin[/b]

Your policy only covers you if the other car you are driving is insured! Hence you aint! Lesson learned the hard way

Hugh really sorry to hear of your bad news, not sure how you will fare with the insurance, as they will refer this to the underwriters and there job is to save the insurance company from paying out. However seek a good solicitor like White Dalton, they dealt with me on my bike accident and i was in the same case as you, they cancelled the insurance on my bike so i lost 32k as i had exceeded the mileage, however it was not my fault, a jumped a prick hit me head on.

But White Dalton sorted my claim and i ended up getting the full amount.

Surely if they pulled out on you, its irrelevant what the the state of your insurance is? You should be claiming of the other persons insurance?

Sorry m8 u aint got a leg to stand on.. used 2 work in car insurance... you have driving other cars extention only for other cars that are INSURED and owned on the road by another person. so u cant insure your mondeo 2 drive a cossie and apart from that driving other cars is covering you for third party only.... your lucky the 5-o dont do you for no insurance....
