Ok im currently running 506BHP on my Car and after getting the engine and new turbo in etc im having a few problems with the thermostat.

Now i have been to a few car parts places and they are trying to sell me different thermostats.

Now the questions i, is there one for a escort cossie? or is it lent from another ford model? Is there also a uprated one you can buy?

there is one for the escort cossie, ford or any good motor factor should be able to supply you with one, if not the likes of MSD, GGR etc should have one

I think the original operated at 88 degrees and usually the aftermarket ones at 82 or something like that, I'm sure I will be corrected if wrong

The 2wd Cosworth had the lower operating temp one.

4x4 and Escos Thermostat housing uses the 88 degree stat.

2wd etc use the 82 degree stat.
