i got rid of my esc cosw too a price i like 
and i never bye a cosw again 
the prices folks ar trying too get from used parts 
are a shame -
all the problems
driving it hard and giving dam a bouth cervise - soory about spelling .

Each to their own. It would be a sad world if we all liked the same thing wouldn't it.
Atleast you got a good price for it as you say, lots of people sell cars at a loss once they've lost interest as they just want shot of it.

but i have had 5 cosw - from 86 too a 93 esc - in norway peopel telling you "what a nice car " turning a round and telling everybodey you are are an asshol . And asking others if they can damage your car . The icuranse comanys in norway is saying the cosworts guies are the worst in contry steeling from each others . Im 53 years and afraid if the car was gone in the morning . So i got my selves a - in sted .....

Bige har owned a couple of very nice lowmilage cossies..
as far as I'm concerned you will come across assholes everywhere, so what..
If parts are TOO expansive they don't sell, so cant see a problem there, If I can get 1000punds for my RS500 splitter, GREAT

it is a very sad case that you have had to sell the escort cosworth due to jealousy and risk of theft due it being quite rare over there.

too all i loved every moment in my cosw . but the car is growing old - and ford is carging lotst of (oil) money too try too get parts from other places .

Goa is right, surely getting parts for your Mustang is going to be harder? I would be surprised if it is cheaper to own than a cossie, and that the jealousy stops.

Norway is'nt that bad for car theft anymore, there was some gangs in Oslo area earlier that stole a lot of cossies.. I think they have gotten to old now, both the gang and the cars LOL..
In my area of norway the problem has never been very big, knock on wood..

Cossie parts are virtually non-existence where I live although there are about 7 or Escort Cossies around (and a few Sapphire Cossies). I just buy parts on eBay, usually from UK sellers. Expensive? Definitely. It's part of owning rare cars
