Exactly as Dojj has showed.

Sits concealed within the gear selector cradle, pretty easy to change once you have the gearbox out, and does reduce throw quite considerably.

ive fitted these to both of my escorts now and do like the feel of the gear change alot more.

i had no idea Rainbird sold them, but if he cant supply them anymore then Rally Design have kept them in stock for over 6 years now


Oh, and to add, my gear selector cradle is solid mounted, all the bushes have been replaced for alloy items

hi dojj

no offence , but fitting a quick shift to any syncro box will cause premiture wear to the syncro rings and after a bit the box will start crunching on gear changes

fair play for having ago but i wouldn't advice it at all

I got a BnM shifter fitted to my cossie and its a hell of alot better.Sometimes when its cold i carnt get first and reverse gears.

ive got a b/m quick shift & its a vast improvement & mine doesnt rattle at all ,at least i cant hear it above any of the other rattles ive got

Page 163 of Demon tweaks catlogue that came with THIS months fast ford has a listing for B&M short shift for sierra cosworth 4x4 (£308.41).

Didnt realise these were that much!?! I've got a brand new one I've had for years I never got round to fitting to mine somewhere!
