Default straightening out front stone deflector

Has anyone had any success doing this, if so what did you do, I was thinking of taking it off so it's nice and straight, mixing up loads of fiber glass and putting a thin layer across the back of the deflector after I had scuffed the surface up do you think this would work??

If you look at the very centre mounting hole for the lower spoiler, it is directly below one of the mounting holes for the upper spoiler, use a long 10mm threaded bar with locking nuts between the spoilers and it takes the pressure off the upper spoiler, I did this on mine and it makes a noticable difference, will take a pic when I can be arsed to go in the garage!

Wouldnt expanding foam only help to prevent it going out of shape, so only work on a new/straight one?

I have a spare one with a slight ripple in it so i might have a play about with it and see what i can do.

Are the splitters actually painted matt black or is it just bare black plastic? Ive never actually looked at the splitters in detail.

I suppose it all depends on how you mount it as to how rippled they go. Mines been on about 7 years and its not far from perfect.

Maybe i just got lucky or maybe its just cos i dont use it!

Buy yet another new one!!

That is why they are 4 times their original price now on ebay!

Crappest part of the car IMO!

The old ones are made of much thicker plastic than the newer ones and this is why they ripple
