Looking at some new wheels for my girl
Hi there i am in the market to buy some new wheels for my Escort Cosworth 93 K Plate.
Its fitted with Image 18ins 3 Peice split rim, but after buying a set of AP 6 Pots and 378,32mm discs to go with it from Reyland.
The problem is my old wheels will not even fit the caliper or disc. I have seen a set that i like and would like to eith get these in 18ins or maybe 19ins, but again i am not sure or understand all the talk on offset and j.
Please could anyone in the know tell me what size i need to ask for when ordering my wheels for the car and also will this affect my suspension that is on the car as i only have the Koni Shocks and ggr springs.
All help would be greatfull

Hi Gareth,
If you have bought the 378mm kit, then only certain Motorsport rims will fit over these.
Ideally (as you are running Konis), you want either Mo's or TH2s in 8J x 18 ET15 . Any other type of wheel would need trial fitting (inc some 19s). If you buy some second hand Mo's, make sure they are either the old style ones or the very latest new style ones, as the first batch of the new style ones did not have the centres correctly machined for clearance of these size brakes.
