Default big missfire problem can you help please!!!!!!!!

hi there, a friend of mine has a 95 escossie with ybp small turbo engine which is missfiring and doing backfires from the exhaust alot that sometimes you can't even drive it and sometimes you can drive it till 2500 rpm and then again missfiring. we changed the plugs and checked the timing and they are ok ! what do you think please ?

Coil packs give problems, and the engine connectors by the power steering tank give problems.

hi mervyn, i had the same problem with my 93 bt. i got a new ignition amp and map sensor and she's perfect now.

check that the airflow sensor has a good connection on the plug

mate of mine had that exact problem you explain on a small turbo escort, and it was one of the wires broken going into the plug - caused all sorts of bad running problems.

hi guys , i found the problem ,it was the engine wiring connectors by the power steering tank one of them was loose and now i arranged the connector and is running fine ! thank you guys for the help.
