One of mine is build date December 1995 then first registered 1996.
I thought the production stopped December 1995!!

nope only 2500 homologation Escort Cosworths, they had the big turbo,and the water injection pump fitted under the back seat.
they are THE best as ford built the car to go world championship rallying and needed to
make 2500 by jan the 1st 1993,its all about rallying
and if you like rallying like me you got the best.

if anyone knows how many lhd big turbo homologation produced
i would be very gratefull

mine SP93017 is number 7050/7145. produced 12 12 95 and left the plant on 18 12 95.

in austria there is a guy who has the old dos-data from the production of the escos. he is also making nice limitation plates for escos and focus rs/st.....

from him i got also total numbers of cars produced. and they are not equal to the others you find on the internet. especially the 3448 cars from 92 made me sceptical since years cause i don´t think karmann had the rescources to built this amount in only 10 months.

his production data(complete cars):

know anyone who much big and small turbo were built?
i remember about 4500bt and 2500st...and that seems matching his data cause in nearly half 94 they began with the st.

if i take the data from the internet with 3448 in 92 then about 5000bt where built...92+93 already 4591...
