Default help on parts

does anyone know if the temp sender on the bottom of the rad is the same on small turbo escort the same on any other car as i need the sensor and the plug.
plus is the accelerater cable the same on all cossie's or different.

have a look on your plug,then get the sensor to match,saves chopping your loom.

99% the accel. cable will be the same.

someone has already cut the plug off.i have the sensor with four pins on but someone has used spade connectors to join it.
one of the pins in the sensor has broke,still useable but would like to replace it if i can.

Just check part number for the cable to see if it is the same, but I think thye are not 100% though.
I would hazard a guess that the plug will be on other fords too, though some of these connectors are available NEW, POLEVOLT.CO.UK
Easy way is to order your fan switch, then hunt around scrappies to see, if you get stuck PM me and I'll see what I can do.

I have exactly the same problem with my fan switch. The plug has been cut off and four spade connectors connect to the switch on the bottom of the rad. I went round the scrappies and had a look at other escort and they were different. I even had a look at sierra's and granadas with a twin fan set up and they are different also. If you find out where to get the plug could you let me know please and i will do the same if I locate one.

i have a mate who breaks fords old and new so try to get a look at mk5 xr3i's and si's see if there the same.
