its a bastard!!!!! but not impossible though!!- you need hands of a two year old!!and to get that rubber protector back on in one piece!!!!!!! is not short of a miracle.i did mine on my own(neaded somone in the car really to hold and push down on lever but struggled) will never ever do one again---not a lot of room even with cradle removed-but have a go-lol

Yes mate, just to elaborate from what i recall......
As it makes YOU try to change quicker than the syncromesh allows = CRUNCH!
But then Mike R also says his little mod helps with the throw, and adding the solid bushes Martin sells!!
You may recognise them sentences paul!

Anyway back on subject!
After going out in pauls last night, i was shocked to see how much travel / play there is in the gearstick throw!!
My recommendations for this would be to fit the solid cradle bush mounts from Martin - http://reyland.co.uk/Details.asp?ProductID=112
And this off of Mike Rainbird - http://www.randbmotorsport.co.uk/sho...?ProductID=340
Reckon that would sort it out a treat! (without the added cost of crunch gearchanges!!).
