Got a set of theese wheels myself now..
They are just two months old, and you can hardly see they are used
Think they will look great on my imperial blue escos
Just a shame the hub-adaptors are for audi\vw
Dont know yet if I should have new hub-adaptors made, or if I should swap the hubs for scorpio ones..

I went trought this topic and the car looks awesome.
Two details bothered me a little bit, You don't have any support on turbo and exhaust?
Antilag was mentioned but You don't have any strengthening plate on front diff or is thick wall case? I have seen split diff cases even with little over 300hp.

the turbo will get a turbo hanger soon.havent had the time to get one sorted.
i do have a strengthening plate on the diff.but its not thick wall.but its so called "group n" spec...with shot peened internals,new new bearings and a 909 strengthening plate.
the antilag has not been setup yet..and dont think i would run this on my current turbo,as it is rollerbearing turbo and is said that they do not stand up for the abuse of antilag.
regarding drivetrain beeing not able to cope with more than 300 and antilag...that i think depends on the state of the drive train..most of the cars are running around with worn out drivetrain and engines....and i mean if you overhaul the standard drive train ,it would stand up for quite alot of power.it all boils down to how you mistreat it and what state its in
have not done anything new to the car due to not alot of money these days..and its been on hold.and it has been not that good weather lately either..so...but its spring now..and its gonna come out in the sun more and more

unfortunatley i have had to sell my car.lost my job,and the only way out was selling the car.so...not in a good mood these days.
looking forward to getting a new job and look for another car.

hey people
just wanted to tell ya people what happens.
ive now got meself a job at a mercedes benz dealership.works out allright.
and i have been bitten by the mercedes sickness...wanting an w124 e500 or an 190 e evo1,but i guess i will find out what car to buy when the economy has set abit more;
now these days i drive around in a 93 year mode ford custom line van,because of girlfriend with some kidsa really comfy and solid ride.no escort thoughi also have a little shitty hyundai accent 96 everyday car..uses just a sniff of fuel,and thats the purpose of the car,,,cheap as fooock
and recently got a 90 year model 230 e, with 17 inch amg rims and a nice grey color on the car.bought it with a smashed up sump,and gambled on that it would turn out good after changin the sump,and it did.good working order car,and wanted to have a car to cuddle with as i really like the color,the look of it and the rims,but that one is up for sale at the moment
but am talking to the guy that bought my escort about buying it back in the spring of 2010,so guess i have to see what the future brings

yeah i found it very good.though it is a diaphram type..so it will have to be checked on a more regular basis i reckon..but it worked well on my car..and it looks the bollocks i think.one of the best looking ones out there.
its quality made, and its got a neat kn filter around it which is a nice touch in the looks department

just wanted to bump this old thread..of my old carfound this slot in the Dec 2008 issue of Performance Ford magazine...where to have a full story in the mag...but never happend for some reason.
still missed...and for some reason..thinking of getting it back..as i do know the current owner

It is a proper minter too...not a super low mileage car..but its been meticously looked after...and i do no different to the car.
Its a summer drive only vehicle from new,,and there is no rust on it whatsoever.
And like always..i just haaad to have the motorsport wheels on
A proper WRC rear wing is beeing fitted to the car later on too...still have some fitting work to do in that department
