Pulling away in low gears-annoying vibration-please help
Took the car out this afternoon and it's pissing me off already (first drive in 6 months too)
when I pulled away in low gears with out giving it loads of welly ie driving it like my Nan was in the car, it was vibrating till it got past low revs (like it was reeling in slack if that makes sense) then it was fine, it seems to be drive train related and just made me hate driving it in everyday situations like traffic
I dont remember being bothered by this before, is it normal or is the damn thing broken again
was really looking forward to using it this year too (

mat,
the only thing i can think of is either a brake caliper sticking? have you jacked it up and checked for this? or a drive shaft on the way out can also cause vibration,i had the nuckle wear out on my old escoz on the front prop that joins the transfer box to the front diff that caused a vibration through the car...
jay.

It's not so much a vibration caused by something rubbing / touching, more a kind of shudder through the car when pulling away, like it's caught on low boost (which is what it may be), as soon as it's past low revs it is fine and goes really well, it's just around traffic you really seem to notice it
maybe I should drive it flat out everywhere then I wouldn't have the issue
Thanks
