People who sold their Escos for an Evo.........
Do you regret it, did you go back or are you converted?
Before anyone says so, I know they are far superior cars but there is just something about an Escos that makes me unable to part with it.
I do love that new Evo 9 MR FQ360 though

Hmm
the evo thing is electronic diffs....
I dunno if I shall find that cool, yes it makes the car quick and easier to drive, but.... where s the fun?
Not that n Evo is boring or so,,, I got one (in Germany we just have 280 bhp versions) for a day, and hell... I won't change, it was an Evo 8... dunno the 9 modell if its cooler....

im looking at getting rid of the escos for and fq 340 or 360...to be honest i prefer the escorts but the nightmare with getting parts now is a right put off... i mean you cant even get the clip for the side skirts anymore.
if parts were more readily avail then i would keep the escort all day long

i have a evo and a escort, its the best of both worlds
i know of another well known chap on here who has the same as me
shame i have been sworn to secrecy
i have been invited to road test a evo 9 at my local main dealers
you service your car there and then get all sorts of offers off them

I bought a Evo 9 GT (only 43 in the country now) approx 12 months ago now to replace my Esc Cos
Guess what? Im stuck with them both as i like driving the both of them as they are totally different cars
At the end of the day i will sell the Evo first if i have to
Cheers,
Chris.

I sold my Escy to buy an Evo 7 and I must say I don't regret it Now by saying that I'm not slating the Escort Cosworth in any way, they still are and always will be one of my favourite cars of all time and I still get a semi on when I see one out on the road, but for my personal situation the Evo does suit me better.
With the Escy I often panicked a bit and felt guilty if I'd been out and given it a really good hammering wondering if everything under the bonnet etc was still OK, whereas with the Evo (well so far at least so touch wood & all that ) you can just abuse it knowing it's going to be fine
