Has anyone taken the fuel injector manifold off with the head still on the car ?? how do you get to the four bolts on the underneath !!

Very tight squeeze but easy to do, did mine on car.

did you use a ring spanner ??, can't seem to move them at all !!

Yes I just used normal tools, they should not be that tight, think I used a ratchet spanner, but not 100% sure but 100% sure defo took off completely first before removing head.
The exhaust manifold is another matter!!

done it several times,its a pain to get at,easier if you remove plenum chamber first

I got mine off, with a small 13mm spanner just

You can get in there is you take the injector wiring off etc...

Took the plenum off and moved the injector wiring out the way but they just aint moving, i think i'll wait till next week now for my cut knuckels to heal !!

I used a ratchet spanner............made the job much easier

Yep,difficult if they are tight but a good ring spanner helps, not one that rounds them off.

make sure youre undoing them the right way,upwards

Managed to get 3 of the 4 off, the last one (nearest the bulkhead) has now rounded , why does it always happen to the last one

Any ideas how to get this one off !!

Moleys, stud extractor, grind the head off!
