Default Electric sunroof conversion!!!

Want to put an electric sunroof in my K reg escos. Got the motor and cover and switch and have been to scrappy for the plate that sits in the roof to bolt the motor to. Just need this fitting!!

Can any one help in the North Wales area???

I didn't think the manual roof had the corect mounting holes for the electric motor ??, i know mine didn't, plus the splines are different for man/electric motors.

There are some chaps on here who have modified them though so i should think they could help.

To fit a electric motor to a manual roof, you need a SCORPIO MOTOR, as the amount of splines are indeed different, at least on sierras they are.

Andy fitted one in mine out of a Mondeo Ghia.

Been waiting 3 weeks for him to do it as usual, motor will go rusty by the time he does it

JOB DONE. Motor came from an escort Ghia i think that i bought off ebay complete with switch and cover. Took roof apart yesterday and the bracket to mount the motor to was already there, so in in went!! LOL. just earthed it and put some power to it and away to go. SORTED

I've fit a motor on a manual sunroof, there's no problem but I don't know where the motor come from!
