Hi guys, who's going to be taxing there cars in a weeks time? i cant bloody wait. 6 months of Sorn has been torture, i am aiming to get it taxed on friday as with it been sorn you can only tax 3 days before, Moted and Plate changed on monday Hopefully if they do it while i wait. Day of work so i think it will be getting some miles done on monday. i bet its bloody lashing down knowing our great british weather! just hope we have seen the last of the white stuff and the gritters for this year.

I,ll be taxing mine been sorn for 6mths now and i can,t wait either. Is that right you can tax before the end of mth. Thought you lost a mth if you taxed it early cos your takin out new tax, not continuing from the mth before?

You can tax it from the 15 of the month to start next month if your car is already taxed, but if sorn you can only get it 3 days before, but still cant use the car till the first day of the month. so i think you will be able to tax it on friday to start on sunday. Hope that makes sense mate.

I just keep mine taxed to save the messing about with sorn'ing it. Its not actually away for a full 6 months anyway, and i often give it a run around the block if its dry so better for me to keep it taxed really.

Mines officially out now though!!!!
