wheel spacer /offsets
a want my 8x18 super Ts to sit wider to fill the arches, they're
ET 28 offset , i was going to put 10 mm spacers al round to give ET18 , will this put any more "strain on the bearings or hubs?
why is the offset so important?
the front look as if they could take a 50mm spacer !! lol ,
cheers stookay

I have 30 mm spacers all round on my standard wheels & they fill out the arches nicely. Have no idea what the offset is on the standard wheels though, which isn't very helpful of me. What I can say though is that I've done 30,000 miles with my spacers & still not needed to change the bearings/hubs. You'll need longer studs though & that could foul your locking wheel nuts.
