Found a dodgy mud trap check yours!!
Whilst buftying the front suspension of my car I removed the wheel arch liners and found a bad mud trap on top of the sill
I was lucky my car has only had 3 winters on the road in the uk since new so it was ok but others may not be so lucky you can see in the pics where it is I gave it a good clean out and wash and only found a small amount of dried mud.
I have now covered this area in waxoil so should be ok now.

I cant belive that you people strip your cars down this far i've only just got round to changing the tanks and hoses(i am having a nightmare with the brakes though(ap 6 pots))

think it needs to be about 1" diam not 2mm think there will be some rotten sills around soon for the ones that have never been cleaned out
