Default after fitting RS500 cooler

I have just fitted the RS500 cooler and now i am left with the standard dump valve, can someone tell me what i do with this. that is where do i connect it back in to the charge circuit? also while it was appart i may have got the amal valve conections mixed up can someone post a pic of the right way to reconect these back up, any other info would be greatfully recived. or just pics of your engine bays of cars with RS 500 coolers on so i can see the pipe layout or even a drawn diagram.

the amal valve is marked which pipe goes where if ya look closely...

the unit should be marked above each outlet with the letters W , C and R

W = WASTEGATE pipe goes to wastegate actuator

C = COMPRESSOR pipe goes to compressor housing

R = RETURN pipe goes to airfilter housing or to atmosphere if no standard airbox is present.

if youve fitted a 500 cooler and nothing else (ie Hoses for a dump valve fitment) then your best bet is to block off the holes left and have some chatteras for the fitment of the amal valve i will have a look tomorrow and pm you

arr fuk aye , a forgot the escorts have different amal valves on em........

right then.. escos ones go as follows....

if ya lookin at the valve with the wiring plug towards ya , the pipe on the left goes to the air filter housing and the pipe on the right goes to a T' piece which splits to the compressor housing and the wastegate actuator.

No you can't remove it, it provides the closed loop boost control for the ECU. To remove it would mean the ECU could no longer do this!
