you may need to reconnect the amal valve depending on the chip, as with some chips they are disconnected, the injectors will be unchanged

thanks Steve

Amal valve is definately connected

Do you guys recommend a session on the rolling road afterwards, just to make sure everything is running right?

doesn't have to go on a RR but a visit to a specialist is always a good idea after work has been done just for peace of mind.

The actuator will probably need adjusting to reduce the boost.

When I took my (previous owners) "Superchip" off I had to get it rolling road set-up as it was over boosting. Power Engineering adjusted the actuator but it was still over boosting so they got one out of the bin they had just taken off a standard cossie! Safe to say it worked thought.

it's crap, take it from me and save your time and effort - you will have to mess about adjusting the actuator as well, to set the boost which is a pain when you re-chip it because clio 182's are laughing at you

Went out in it last night as standard, I didn't think it was too bad, but then again my daily drive is a 1.6 mondeo, so anything is quicker than that.

Will be seeing how it goes for a little, but I must admit after reading the the tuning a small turbo cossie thread its making me think I should put the chip back in
