Airbag light flashing

Default Airbag light flashing

Stopped the car to put some juice in and when i start it up again the airbag light is flashing,checked wiring and all seems to be ok. Starts car up again and light not flashing.......get to work.......fine..........come out of work flashing again????? Checks wires again......fine. Has anybody had this problem................any help appreciated.

You need to count the number of flashes. Its usually a certain amount 0.5 seconds apart then a long pause, then its repeated again. If you post up the amount of flashes I can tell you what the auto data sugggests the fault could be.

Its about 6 seconds but i will give you exact time tomoorow,cheers

Its not the time its the amount of flashes.

It flashes once every 5 secs,bloody heaters packed up as well now

One flash on the auto data says, Drivers air bag, wiring for drivers air bag or the spiral cable, which i presume is the bit behind steering wheel like a ring that stops wires getting tangled if you know what i mean. May be worth checking you fuse box for burnt contacts if your getting a few electrical probs devlop.
