side lights

Default side lights

just had car going tried my side lights and they wont come on checked fuse and also tested to see if power there nothing my main and full work but side dont so rear and front side lights and fogs and clock lights dont come on has any one else had problem if so what is problem is the fuse box goosed thaks for any help nats

more than likely the switch in the stalk that does the indicators/sidelights etc, very common for them to fook up on the sidelight switch.

you can either get a new complete stalk set from ford for around 70 quid,

or do what i did, get some frmo a breakers for a fiver, then unsolder the old stalk and solder the new one in its place,,

see the fooked burnt wiring on my old ones

as above may just be light stalk..., check everything else ie interior light radio etc etc, if they arent working it will be fuse box almost certain

spray sum wd 40 on the part of the switch that u twist. turn the lights on and off a few times, did it to mine and i havent had a problem since

thanks for your help it was the wire on the sidelight switch burnt out so 10 quid off ebay sorted it happy days r back
