Just wondered as ive seen these on ebay but ive never seen an escos with them in. It seems the cut outs in the wings are there so i assume they were fitted with them from the factory?

It seems funny to me that they'd put the cut outs in the wings if they never fitted them from the factory.

Anyone got any under bonnet pics from a brand new one out of a brochure or something?

they didnt have them from factory,the small turbos have the smaller ones a bit higher up the wings as in above pic,the big t had none

Yep my s/t was just the same as the one pictured above, smaller blocks a bit further back up the wings

part cat says esc cosw 6612455 bougth this and its differet too "standar " sierra cosw (6096256 ) - its a soft foam insted of hard rubber .....

Im confused now as i thought they went in the cut outs half way down the wing edge. I have the top ones next to the seal, and looking at the ones on ebay again they look like these. Im sure the basic escorts have them where we have the cut outs though as i remember jet washing them off all the time at work and sending them flying!!

the "sierra " fits in this cut out -part nr 6096256
BUT the part manual escort cosw states 6612455 and this is a foam soft unit with tape on it . go too your local ford delar and he will schek the part nr ..if you dont belive me....
