Why you thinking of one of those Paul?
surely your not running the camber that will warrant having one, and your car certainly isnt overly low either!

tried sourcing an xr4x4 item?

Would an XR 4x4 one stand up to Paul's power?

its not the shaft thats the problem most times its the tri bearings.

xr4x4 are about 15-20mm longer.

kelv are you still running 3.9 diffs? How much did that cost to do, and whats the difference in acceleration and top speed like?

I'm running an xr 4x4 shaft off side in mine, but it makes a right racket on ful lock, im on -30 konis and "18 rondells I broke a standard shaft on STD power , only lightly launching as well

inner bearing, the joint sheared and jammed against the x-member- I put it down to having a bit of right lock on as I was turning across a busy duel carridgeway and needed a swift get away, didn't launch hard just had about 3000rpm and slipped the clutch to get it on boost- is a T25 BTW

the driveshaft would have been ok as long as it would not have worn the end away so you can not get another bearing on it.

I was going to say that, unless you're running extreme neg camber like Rainbum is....... why would you want them?

Seems to me like your running out of things to buy, and have started clutching at straws!

Also the only problem mention by Mark @ Grove was lunching them off the line on full lock (which I'd imagine aint ever gonna happen!) and if you did then you fooking mental & thoroughly deserve it!

Paul,
Please be aware that the GGR one is FULLY built up and is NOT just the drive-shaft, it is the inner and outer CV joint as well, complete with gaitor.

If you just want the shaft, see if they will supply this by itself....

surprised no one has said about the engine mounts yet just changed mine and the passenger side one just fell to bits when loosened off. my drivers side shaft popped out in september, but the drivers side mount was spot on is this normally the case(its the opposite side mount that is fubarred.)

if the driveshafts go then the mounts are the main culprit.
