As above as mine is running like a bag of shite and could do with swapping a couple of sensors to see if it makes a difference!

Cheers craig.

Rather than spend a lot of time sensor swapping, have you tried putting a error code reader on it?

yes mate have tried the latest snap-on one, and it just wouldn't give any reading, even got the snap on guy to try and he phoned his technical helpine and even they fell out with the thing, so I put a new air flow meter on it and it still runs but like a bag of shite. so rather than buy all new sensors would be easier to try and swap a few over.

It's eec-iv enhanced 3 digit so it should work with any scanner that'll read, say, a '94 Mondeo. e.g. Crypton ACT II

Might be the Edis ignition module, mate...
These are said to cause what you are experiencing if they are fooked...

I have had this problem 3 times now, first time was a coil pack,it still worked but like yours was difficult to start and missed when running etc.Next time was due to a combination of plug gaps and air filter and the third time turned ot to be water in the fuel filter.Best keep small turbo standard really for reliability as they dont like you fookin about with them too much

Things are good mate, how's you? Be great to see the car when it's finished, you've put alot of work into it. Hope the fault gets sorted.

Tac's my mate, had the grey 2wd Saff. Andy fitted all the stage 3 stuff to it
