Default winter run about car who has one

looking for hot hatch for driveing day to day whilst its winter but dont know what to go for i should go for a diesel our something but cant stand them i was thinking something like a renault 5 gtt / golf gti / pug 205 which one would you go for .

Out of them 3 id say golf to be more reliable, but the 5 turbos are more fun, never had a 205 tho, so dont know.

I have this and it's been reliable and cheap to run for the last few years-although will be upgrading next year

But it was silly running 2 nice cossies so I got rid spent lots more money on the Escort and got the Golf

how much do you lot pay to insure a second car?can u use any of your existing no claims or do you have to start a fresh? i use the wifes focus [when she lets me ] lol or the works van cough,vauxhall,cough

Some companies will match your existing bonus or if if you are a driver on your wifes policy they may match that-just shop around

ive been normally using the works van aswell.

but to insure the corsa costs me a tad over Ł200.

I have just purchased a mk3.5 fiesta 1.8D, yes a dirty diesel, never thought i would bring myself to buy one. he he.

I couldnt just leave it as normal car. So modding is taking place very soon.
Mainly involing FRST Parts.
with exception of MCR Splitter and Zetec -S REAR Bumper.
Already have the kit and bumpers, just waiting to go on.

i used to use a p100 cossie lookalike over the winter .......





but since i sold that thru the summer my new runabout and winter workhorse is this wee beastie , E30 318is ..... the ultra rare 16valve 4 banger E30.........














i love it , nowt like a bit of sideways fun to keep ya entertained whilst the escos is tucked away for winter!!
