let me guess, your sidelights have stopped working and you have to tw@t the stalk to get them to come on,,,?
mine did the same, but rather than pay a load for a new stalk which is about 70 quid from ford, i just went to a breakers and unsoldered the sidelight/indicator stalk off and back on to mine.. pics: about a fiver

That was a problem i had,i had to hit the light switch with my lighter to make lights work,so i got a second hand set from the scrappy in the summer........now in winter i discover that my rear wiper is not working ...the old stalks are in the bin ages ago so i cant swap em back to see if it is the switch,dont want to remove the wiper motor just yet
