OMG Dunc
I was hoping to get to come and see it before xmas to help with my preparation-just trying to find the time
That will be a hard car to lose mate-it would bring a tear to my eye if I had to sell it.

UPDATE

I drove a 200 today and it was horrid all i can say is a dream is over !!!!!!! as i whould hate to drive it far on the road, 5 minutes was long enouth for me and whould hate to drive it for hours up and down the motorway to and from shows as they are that bad, rally stage yes road car no, well now i know why you dont see many at shows ect.

Well looks like i will keep the escort now as that was one of only a few cars i whould have sold it for, o well not to worry just so glad i didnt sell the escort first or i whould be feeling very sick

Good choice keeping the cossie mate.

Am i the only one that doesnt like the RS200? Ive never seen one close up, but i think there really ugly and just look cheap (although obviously not). Ok there fast, but as said above, for a road car they sound like a big no no.

Wouldnt mind thrashing one round a track though obviously.

It's a homologation special, what did you expect ? It was never designed for road use in mind . They need grabbing by the scruff of the neck and man-handling. The transmission also takes a lot of warming up, and there is a process you have to go through, which takes longer than 5 minutes, so judging it on a short drive isn't really ideal .

What version did you drive, as I loved the one that Harvey had (2.1 Evo), also been in a 1.9 Evo around the Ring (car was not particularly sorted, so was an "experience" . Trying to find one that has been properly set up takes some doing. To experience what a "good" one is like, you should see if you can persaude Will to take you out in his, as that seems well set up . What I mean is, don't judge all cars by the one you went out in .

I've obviously upset him in some way . Must have been rejecting him via PM after he sent me pictures of himself naked . I just replied that what he had "looked" like a penis, just smaller .

yes mike i know what you are saying but this was only the so called 1.8 250 bhp road going vershion not the real evo one, still didnt like it and i whouldnt spend 70 k + or what ever on the evo as the one i went to look at was a lot less, if i wanted to spend that much i whould go and get a GT2 RS

Really glad you arent selling it Dunc. I am quite shocked at how people would consider getting rid of some mind boggling cars!!!

I recently said to Frosty on here "only sell it for a true dream car" luckily like you Dunc he didnt sell his...... I couldnt sell mine as it is my dream car!!!!

See you at the shows Dunc.
