Default Pic request please: fuel rail with braided hoses

Hello all

I would like it if anybody who has the above could put some pics up please. The reason i ask is that ive bought some braided fuel hose to put on instead of the existing standard black ones. I dont want the one circled below ( vacuum i think????) to look crap though as it has a 90 degree bend in it and the braided hose ive bought is quite rigid. Im curious as to how yours may be secured to the rail or anything else come to think of it and how you may have got round the rigidity of the braided hose where it has to have the bend in it.

im also looking for some blue or chrome finishers for the hose...any ideas where from and how much?????

thanks
Martin

By either buying a zoo/carwise fuel rail with JIC ends on it or getting JIC fitting welded on to your fuel rail.
For the people that have JIC rails and quip how have you attached the hose at the other end to the original fuel pipes under the car. I know that some people run new lines all the way back to the pump but i was just looking to tidy up the bay, so would it be possible just to push the hose over the original pipe and clip it.

good point - is it worth running new fuel lines as some are getting quite scabby now and i know are unavailable from ford anymore - would make sense to run complete new fuel lines straight from the pump IMO.. and while your at it re wire the fuel pump with new wiring using the original to feed the new relay switching the heavy gauge feed
