Should i buy?
Basically i know of an xr3 done up as an rs16i, basically it has everything an rs has exept the engine, it needs paint work doin as the guy had arches replaced and battery tray sorted, it has a stage 3 head, cam with vernier pulley, twin 40's, four branch manifold to back box, engine was rebiult not so long back with new clutch has four speed box (has five speed ready to put in with linkage) needs four new tyres has a standard carb and manifold to put on if wanted erm needs new drivers seat as springs have gone, dash has cracked but im gettin another with it if i buy it.
all this for 700 quid
oh yeah theres no tax and test
whats the suspension like on these dont they have some wierd camber thing goin on, any advice will be greatly appreciated

ive bin told it will pass mot no problem he just wants rid. my mate who knows him is off to have a quick look to see if its worth it on friday but its sposed to be quite the minter

If you know how to do a 'pre MOT' inspection on it i'd give it a quick once over before you buy it otherwise knock the cost of an MOT off the asking price

i know roughly what to look for helped out on few mot's at work how much do those bottom arms cost will lowering it 60mm help with it or is it best to do bottom arms aswell

think theyre about Ł90 each but shop around, might find em cheaper make sure you get them set up correctly though
Not sure on the lowering part, some say it makes it worse, ive lowered my RSi 60mm and ive had no problems, handles like a mini and i know cos i used to own a mini

Cheers for the help, what suspension kit did you lower yours on is there any difference from G-max to koni and avo i was thinkin g-max cos its cheep but is it worth splashin out and not bein dissapointed

Im from Goole if you have heard of it, went to see that xr3 was a let down to be honest he got it runnin but it cut out arches were bodged just filler and primer so was rustin again lol manifold was blowin no back box on it just a big let down really ah well gonna spend the money on my saff with 2ltr conversion
