Ive got a diagram of the ignition system showing where the wires go from the pins if thats any help to you?

The RS1600i has its own ignition wiring loom seperate from the main cars wiring loom which ran from the ignition module under the dash to the twin coils and sensor on the engine. You will need this loom if your planning to run thr 1.6i setup

Hi,
could you tell me, whether the 12V is on the pin 4? Or on the pin 3?
It is missunderstandable according to diagram.

Next question from Geree, typing by me
Where is the crank sensor located of the RS1600i?
As we found, there are no marks on the backside of the flywheel as for example on the EFI engines. I read somewhere, that there was some magnetic sign. Could you please explain it to us?
If we can't get original parts to it, is it possible to use a crank trigger kit with a 36-1 wheel, such as BurtonPower is selling?
Thanks!

Theres supposed to be some sort of 'magnetic tooth' on the RS1600i flywheel that triggers the sensor, which is positioned in a specially machined hole on the underside of the bell housing on the RSi box. to be honest ive never seen it on my own flywheel
Its supposed to run over the sensor and trigger the sensor, which in turn sends signals to the ECU to indicate the engine speed
im not sure whether the crank trigger kit would work, but you could give it a try
