Default Dash Gauges

Hi All

Im new to the passionford community. I have recently bought my 1st Mk5 Rs2000 and love it.

Just wanted to know if any one could help, im trying to source a temperature guage for my dash as mine just seems not to move or if theres a way of checking it is a sticky gauge.
The car does'nt get to hot and the fan does come on so im thinking thats all it could be?

any inputs would be great

thanks

hi mate
have you checked that the wire on the sender ? they seem to come off or some times they
rot on the inside and wont work the sender sits at the bottom of your head (i think its bottom left as you look at the engine) the same problem i had last week with my boys track car wire had rotted new connector on the end of wire job done

Hey fella
Cheers for ya reply. I have check the wiring on the sender and all seems to be attached and ok, I was thinking about replacing the sender which sits on the side to see if that resolves the issue? Tbh the last thing i wanna do is have to take the dash out to change the gauge lol
