doesn't look like this at the moment tho, waiting for a bit of money to get it all painted and on std wheels, ive had it about 4 years now
pacifica blue, 3 owner car, full factory leather, 3 spoke RS steering wheel, collins powerchip, modded exhaust manifold with de-cat and s/s cat back system, k+n panel filter, samco coolent and induction hoses, just bought some AVO coilovers for it that'll go on after the paint.

PassionFord Post Whore!!
Heres my old one, wish id kept it tbh
Bought it fitted with mondie zetec cossie style rims and paintwork in need of a good clean as was interior, had momo steering wheel/gearknob fitted
Not mu cuppa so sourced a standrard RS steering wheel and alloys, bought a escossie gearknob and fully shampoo'd the interior then set about the paintwork and fitted mudflaps and was mint condition, just had a tiny laquer peel on bonnet.
Went really well this one and loved it

Mine's stripped for the track
2.0L on throttle bodies with Emerald ECU, Kent RS2001 cams and makes just under 180bhp
And here's a clip of me following a 180bhp Fiesta that was featured in October09's Fast Ford

They will all have rust to some degree! Unless you buy a totally restored one, but that will cost you £5K+
4x4 are ok and the transfer box will last as long as it has been regularly treated to fresh oil, most dont get a second look! So check that it still works and does not make any strange noises! Other then that they are fine with moderate power increases too.
You after a mk5 or mk6? mk5 are getting on to be 18 years old, so low mileage ones are rare and obviously more costly to buy.
Main thing to check is rust and electrics, more info on the rs2000-16v.com web site

I agree with ICURUS , they will all have some sort of rust issue but be sure to check every inch of the boot floor and rear chassis legs near the rear panel ! They are despite this good alrounders , ive got a S1 RS turbo aswell as the 4x4 but the 4x4 drives ten times better than the turbo ! Good luck with your purchase and let us know how you get on !!
