Quick one.. which dash did the RSi come with the complete dark grey or the two tone I have one of each both mint but ones come from a 1 owner ghia I just picked up for parts to finish my rebuild. At the moment there is a twotone dash on ebay advertised as RSi and people seem desperate for it. isnt that the wrong one for an RSi....

Dark grey mate, the two tone ones were from the ghia models

But you can always paint the ghia dash so they look like a RSi one

cheers thort they were, any idea of a good paint match, the 2 tone one I have is concours standard even the glove box has its shape still and no cracks, dark grey has no cracks but athere is a hole in the top from some pratt who decided to glue something on then just rip it off!

I saw that dash on ebay too. same question as bigcorndog43 really does anyone know of a good colour match paint for the lower part of a ghia dash to match the RS1600i colour?

also bigcorndog43 are you selling that rs1600i dash with the hole in? if its not too bad might be interested?! its not like mines concours anyway!!

Will be selling one of them but not till I have tried to find a colour match.
Think I have an old shagged dash in my shed so will have a play over the winter with some model paint etc. will post the results on here.

You don't have to paint them, apparently the lighter shade of grey on the Ghia dash is painted over the dark grey (as 16i) so all you need to do is remove the light grey paint. Someone (Mandy) on the RSOC BB has done this so best to ask on there what she used.
