Default New PF Diet and Fitness Consultancy service

Right, after the success of this room, demonstrated by a lot of people interested in what they should be doing regarding diet and training, plus me personally receiving quite a few pm’s for advice, it has been agreed with Stu that I can become a trader and offer a basic diet and fitness consultancy service. Whilst there is a lot of good info in this room, it covers basic concepts and generic info which may work for some and not for others. Therefore I am offering a personal service (oo-errr ) which gives advice specifically for the individual.

The details of the services are below and key thing is that they do not have to be limited to people who go to the gym. Anyone who is interested in loosing their Christmas excess can benefit.

Service:

Diet

1)Consultation (either over the phone or email) about the individuals goals, current lifestyle, height, weight etc
2)Personal assessment of existing diet - (based on supplied data by the individual). Total calories and split between fat, carbs and protein will be calculated to give the individual a benchmark of where they currently are, including an assessment of where they are in relation to their goal/ideal. Calculation of ideal weight and Body Mass Index.
3)Calculation of ideal individual daily calorie intake, again with split by protein/carbs/fat - all geared to the individuals personal goals.
4)Sample diets to achieve above.
5) Setting of realistic targets to aim for.
6)All compiled in a short report for the person to keep and refer too.

Training

1)Assessment of current lifestyle and training programme with reference to goals. 2)Design of suitable exercise programme to achieve goals.
3)Setting of realistic targets to aim for in the gym whether its for fitness, strength training for a sport, or bodybuilding.
4)Helping identify solutions to common problems such as lack of sleep, fatigue etc
5)All compiled in a short report for the person to keep and refer too.

Both with a review after 1 month - with support for the duration

The costs for these services are as follows

Diet assessment = £20
Training assessment = £10

Diet and Training Assessment together = £30

I think this is reasonable as to assess the diet and calculate the new one takes a few hours, which is why its impossible to answer everyone’s request via the forum.

I will be able to accept funds either via cheque, PO, bank transfer or paypal.

Credentials
For those who are not aware, I have been weight training and bodybuilder for over 13 years now, and in that time have pretty much seen and tried everything . There are photos in a couple of the threads here so you can see that I practice what I preach.

If any of you would like to know any more then please pm me or give me a ring on 07771 862 120 and I’d be more than happy to talk it through with you.

Disclaimer: I am not a professional fitness or nutritional consultant, any advice acted upon by the individual is done at the individuals risk.

Best regards

Paul Eggleton[/b]

Congrats & well done Paul

Haven't been using this room much but what I have seen so far you've offered top advice so hats off to you.

I'm going to give it a couple of months yet & see how I get on but may give you a shout on this in the future.

Again congrats

Yes, would love to if it paid enough. Oh and my current day rates for my real world consultancy job are over £1000, so this isn't really a money spinner

I only wish i had done this as soon as paul started. Many thanks Paul, and to anyone um'ing and ah'ing, you wont be dissappointed!

Purely out of interest not flaming AT ALL, but what makes you think you have the necessary experience to advise others for money?

Okay, you've put in the work yourself and found what works for you, but you haven't studied nutrional science, physical science or anything like it by the sounds of things.

It's very easy to write a diet for everyone and advise on training based on your experience, but personally I dont think that is anywhere near enough credentials for people to pay for the advice?

As I said not a flame, its an honest concern I have.

People like James Collier (http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/james.asp) have the necessary qualifications AND background to really help people move along.

I'm sure your advice is good but beyond the initial quick gains that everyone gets when starting, I stuggle to believe you can really provide adequate advice?
