fizzy drinks?
are they bad?
e.g. pepsi max?
I stopped drinking regular coca cola which I loved because of the calorie content and sugar etc and went to pepsi max.
but ive seen in a few posts that they are bad for training etc?
is this right for the diet ones?

I drink pepsi maz like its going out of fashion at home cos it tastes nice from the fridge.
and at the gym the drinks are free so have them there.
I never new there was anything particuarly bad about the diet ones apart from the aspartme or whatever in them?

The side effects this can have on some humans are quite incredible, as i have found much to my family and friends joy. Maybe they will tell you as you would never believe me...

i dont like tea but coffee yes i get alot of frequent urges to have a cup.
its not excessive though as i dont really get too much time to go and make it...
and at home I can't be bothered to make it and just drink pepsi out of the fridge... for some reason no other drink seems to quench what im after.
maybe it is the caffiene?

I drink alot of fizzy drinks and a friend of mine a personal trainer said to cut them out as they are really bad.
I went for 2 weeks without any fizzy drinks, OMG how shit did i feel
I had no energy what so ever to do anything so i went back to the pop and felt better for it.
Anyone else had this???

Yep! I was addicted to Coca Cola for YEARS, about 5-8years, would drink a 2ltr bottle of fullfat a day. Really kept me alive mind! Sugar, energy and caffine.....unfortunatly after a while your body depends on the stuff. Mine did anyway, diet is shit, but my body would feel "ok" as i was constantly feeding it sugar/caffine.
Gave it up at New Years, I know its only been 20 days Coke-Free, but thats 40ltrs of the stuff!
Teeth actually seem harder (different noise when you tap them together), less stomach rot etc (used to get really bad acid burning from it)
Felt shit for days though, body had lost its major source of energy, feel much better for it now though

there's like 11 sugars in a can of coke. imagine having 11 sugars in a strong coffee? What a cocktail. Pepsi max is just as bad cos it's full of artificial sweetners instead.
