Default Stiff legged dead lift....

think thats what it is called? Are you supposed to avoid heavy weights with this lift? thanks

Not necessarily, but in order to get the most benefit from them you have to keep good form, so going excessively heavy will prevent this. I basically do them with 75% of my normal deadlift weight.

I use them as my first hamstring exercise and then do lying leg curls on the machine afterwards.

Also remember that despite the name, you should have a very slight bend in the knees.
