preacher curls - pain????
for a while now after and during preacher curls ive been experiencing pain in the bottom of my forearms, never happened before just lately.
seems to make no odds as per weight, ok during but as soon as i release the bar (curl bar btw) it really aches,
dunno if this is a warm up issue or a general position issue
all my other arm exercises are fine ie, barbell curls, hammer curls etc
any help chaps?

When you say bottom of your forearm, do you mean near your wrist.
YOu could try adding some forearm exercises such as wrists curls with a barbell to your routine to strengthen them up.

nah more the centre of the forearm, i do wrist curls barbell and dumbell but it doesnt seem to effect that area.
ie. i do the preacher curls and then do some barbell wrist curls it doesnt seem to work that area.
its hard to explain but the pain seems to be coming from the bone area lol
might try a straight bar and see what happens

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
you both want to be very careful, this sounds like the start of carpel tunnel, if it hurts continually and affects your grip then you need to see a doctor. use hammer curls for heavy weights and only use things like ez bar curl for shaping with lighter weights and strict form.
