Default stomach,sides and back

I've been doing the gym for a month now and noticed my arms are toning well and my legs.
Just wondered if anyone had any tips on toning the stomach area, sides and tightening back muscles?

thanks

you don't tend to "tone the stomach" you lose weight instead, revealing whats underneath. there is usually less fat on a man on the arms and legs and theres major muscle groups underneath. keep on with a clean diet and going to the gym and the weight will come off and the muscle will grow. don't start thinking you will get abs of steel with sit ups, general cardio will help lose fat, you don't get to choose where your body puts fat on or takes it off, you have to lose it all over.
as for tightening back muscles, do some back excercises, seated row, bent over row, pull downs, deadlift, pull ups (or assisted pull ups if you cant.) the good thing is the back is a big muscle group, so the more you exercise it the more energy you will burn compared to arms. increasing your fat burning potential.

Abs are 90% diet I'm afraid. No quick fix for those. A good way to work them, though, is to engage them during other workouts. Take a simple bicep curl. Do standing bicep curls on a cable machine but place your feet and knees together, slight bend in the knees, break at the waist slightly and tense your abs as you do the exercise. Things like planks, sit ups, ins and outs, roll outs etc are primarily a strengthening and conditioning exercise. They won't build you a six pack unless combined with a clean diet and cardio.
