Default Anyone else 'gone off the boil' lately?

Anyone else need to get their act together and get in shape again? I mean, I'm not in bad shape, but no where near as strong or look as good as what I used to.

Think it's time for a shake up.

Same but my excuse is I had a heart attack on the 29th of Dec.

Not an old fashioned heart attack caused by eating too many pies and having narrowed arteries. Mine was caused by dodgy heart electrics.

But just got back from taking the dog for a good brisk walk, about three miles and I feel good. Cannot wait for the light evenings.

Moral for you Gents who are sat on your fat arses; get out there while you can as you never know what is round the corner. I'm 43 and lucky for one for not being dead and for another that I can still function reasonably well, but won't be doing any running anytime soon.

Yep, I'm in the same boat also, my training partner and I both got new jobs last year and can't hardly train together, strange when you trained together for 2 years before. Solo training is difficult to get used too.

I lost interest tbh. I was training hard having loads of protein and I never looked any different. Im lucky if I get to the gym for 3 times a week now. When I go I just do cardio now and keep fit.

Wish I could get back into it properly, I've put on a stone and a half since I was at my biggest, but not much use if you don't do something with it

I got so lazy. My gym is free and 100 metres from my flat and I still wasn't using it.

My finger out and started mma. Far better having an interest in an exercise as you work harder.

Just about starting the 4th week with no gym. Torn the rotator cuff in my right shoulder and it still hurts.
