Default Protein recommendations?

Used a few different ones in the past but I've since found out I'm lactose and dairy intolerant.
Which explains the terrible smell when doing squats

Winters well and truly here so I'm sticking the push bike away for winter and hitting the gym exclusively so any recommendations welcomed!

Dymatize elite whey has lactase to iron out lactose probs.
Always been kind to my tum and I'm quite sensitive to things like that.
It ain't cheap though...

Whey is digested quicker, ideal for post training.I down half a pint as I,m leaving the gym.

You could argue a good total protein shake is better. Mixture of fast and slow release proteins. But yeah, food is probably better but certainly not post workout! Whey is better then.
