Default Uneven Muscle Growth

I have been going to the gym for a few months now and I'm seeing a good improvement but my right hand side is bigger than my left!

My pecs in particular there is quite a big difference between left and right.

Is this normal? Is it likley they will start to even out over time?

Quite normal. You probably notice it more than other tbh. Have you measured to see what the difference is? My arms have half an inch of difference between them and I really notice it like I am one of those crabs with one massive pincher but no-one else sees it.

Something to think about, when you're lifting make sure you are doing it evenly. Everyone has one side stronger than the other but try not to bring that into play so that the strong side overcompensates for the weak as it will only exagerate the problem.

Also when using dumbbells make suire you stop when the weak side fails. Don't just carry on with the strong one. Bring the weak one up to the same as the strong and then build from there.
