Default Protein

I work next door to Tropicana in Birmingham and I buy whatever is on special offer at the time... All pretty much the same.

Muscletech choc tastes as good as it gets..

Stay away from diet protein - sweeteners taste rank.

Maximuscle is overpriced.

Look online for offers

Hope this helps

Have used maximuscle stuff for a couple of years. Am happy with the promax and the results. If bought direct from their website in bulk or bundles the price isnt so bad...

I've recently switched from myprotein as the quality of the product has been falling lately and they havent been mixing very well. Just trying maxiraw, similarly priced and with a better points system too. Tastes and mixes good.

They do some cracking offers. First order and over Ł50 so got a free mixer, measuring spoons, 6 RTD's, T-shirt and drawstring training bag all thrown in.

From the words of Terry, the owner:

WPC Precision is an 80% whey protein which has 23g of protein per serving with 2g of carbs and 2g of fat - This is our top selling whey and a very popular all round, rapidly-digesting source of protein. Great first thing in the morning, before and after workouts and as a general protein powder.

WPI Intensity is a 90% protein with 23g of protein per 25g serving and has virtually zero carbs and fat. A high-quality whey protein isolate and is slightly more expensive than the WPC Precision due to the more advanced processing procedures this product goes through. Very popular lean protein amongst those on low carb or cutting diets and again is a very fast-digesting source of protein so great before and immediately after workouts.

Protein Complex is a blend of three different types of protein (whey, casein and soy) and supplies a more sustained release of protein to your muscles with the addition of soy and casein which are known as more medium and slow-digesting proteins. Again great after workouts if you prefer a product that offers the benefits of this extended release of amino acids. The Complex has 24g of protein and under 2g carbs and 2g fat per serving.

Casein Sustain
is a slower digesting protein and is a very popular night time or pre-bed shake as it supplies a sustained release of amino acids as you sleep.

Mass Blitz is a healthy higher-calorie shake that consists of a blend of three proteins (whey, casein & soy) and ultra-fine oats as a healthy carbohydrate source. So great as a breakfast shake or for those wanting to bump up their calorie intake during the day in a more healthy way. Over 30g of protein and carbs per serving and only 2g of sugar.

I have the precision and complex. I use the complex for late evenings after workout and the precision as a general one to have during the day.

The strawberry if lovely but I am starting to find the chocolate a bit hard going. I do have my shakes strong though so that I get as much protein in as possible. If made as they should be then they taste fine.

Thanks mate

Have made massive gains on my shoulders over the last 6 or so months.
Arms are starting to slowly get there. My limbs are very long so its a killer trying to get my arms bigger.

Thats the thing with bodybuilding, its never ending, You can always get bigger and leaner no matter how huge you are!

I think that's what I like. It's a never ending challenge to better yourself!

Plus when you do well there is a feel good factor there too. Win win.

You've made some good changes mate, traps and shoulders are especially impressive. Juts bring those arms into line with them now and you will look bob on.

You look a light 17 stone too, how tall are you?

Not sure if I was 17st in that pic but that's the bulk that took me to 17

Killing the arms these days, they seem to be responding to heavy weight and regular workouts.

Quads and calves are also taking a hammering! Training calves has actually become my favourite bodypart!
