Default Leg training problem

Really dont know what to do about this, Ive always had big legs, not fat or anything just strangely large tree trunk thighs and quads, which is great but if Im honest I dont want them any bigger. I squat 120kg at the moment and its coming up nicely. I love squats and appreciate its importance as a compund exercise but im starting to not want to do them for fear of my legs growing. I dont want to cut them out though or reduce the weight as it concerns me that the stimulus they provide my whole body will be lost, whats the best approach???

I have a similar problem, my legs are wider than my waist so trousers are a pain to find! They fit fine at the waist (36") but are tight round my quads unless i go for loose fit which is fine sometimes but not always.

However! I would not stop squatting mate.

I assume you bench press? your chest hasn't grew rapidly i guess? So your legs wont either. They will grow undoubtedly but so should the rest of your body assuming you are doing everything right?

Furthermore, a 120kg squat isn't a massive weight, so I take a stab at it that your legs are maybe prone to holding fat, rather than being massively muscular? (not a dig!) If so, try a mini cut - up the cv and see if that burns up some fat?

Know what your saying, my body seems to be stuck at the moment at 120kg, I press it, deadlift it and squat it, I went for 140 on deadlift yesterday and only got two reps I could squat more (not alot more granted) but its always in the back of my mind that my legs are big enough, im not a fat person as far as im aware, ribs are visible along my sides but I could afford to lose probably half a stone been truthful, that brings on the next issue that I like the weight im at and I dont want to lose any weight, im wanting to put size on. Think im wanting too much in one go.

im in the same boat lads

for toning u gotta go about 20 reps per set

its a nasty way to train ive puked twice doin but but here goes

5 sets 20 reps single calve raises
3 sets 25 reps layin leg curl (we have cybex machine so can hit diff positions)
4/5 sets 20 reps squats light/moderate weight

super set 5 sets 15/20 reps hack squats and seat calve raises

5 sets 20 reps leg press (full range of motion)

5 sets 15 reps stand calve machine
5 sets 15 reps seated calve raise machine
5 sets 15 reps hard to explain we use the squat press machine put the balls or you feet on the egde and extend your calve

then u go home and cry for abit

that's not rely that much mate u want do at least 3 exercises per part of the leg,

legs only grow with high reps because your on them all the time, so to tone them u gotta go mega high reps

its fucking hard mate the fella i train with has smaller legs than me and lifts double the weights i do and normally gets more reps lol
