Training with tennis elbow
Ive been going to the gym off and on since I was 13yrs old (29 now). Now ive had what I think is tennis elbow for about 4 months now and I'm starting physio next week to try and sort it.
In the 4 months Ive kind of lost what gains I had made in a year due to fear of further injury, but I'd like to start again as I can forsee the physio taking another few months. It even hurts pouring the kettle or anything with a lifting and twisting action.
I was thinking for training my shoulders I could put the dumbells in the crease of my elbows
so its effectively hooked on my arm by the plate/weight with my arm bent around the bar so i'd be doing lateral raises without using the forearm at all.
For chest i think just sticking to the peck deck.
Can anyone suggest some basics just to try and keep things moving?
