Default Any help with my routine, pleeeessseeee?

Currently rowing at uni, and training lots of the ergs, I run and cycle alot also.

We do weight circuits of most muscle groups on a monday and weds, along side rowing machine work..

I want to incorporate some weights into this to gain some size and strength.

Hear people saying do a muscle group on a certain day but this is hard with the circuits etc...

I'm stuck.....help

As a rower I know there are weight restrictions and the events require high power output over a prolonged period. Therefore weight gain should be considered very carefully because unless this mass is turned into strength and power endurance the extra mass could infact reduce your performance levels (as the extra muscle mass has no meaningful function). I would only suggest including strength training to increase muscle mass if you are below the required target weight for your event, and even still would ensure training would turn this into strength and power endurance
