Default best machines to use at the gym to lose weight???

been going to the gym for a while now and have tried to improve my diet.

its not so much losing weight that im worried about, more losing it in the right places.

im doing weights aswell as cardio so i know i will put on weight there a bit.

mainly been using the treadmill and rowers a bit.

but just want to know hows the best way to use it.
ie. a fast paced run for a shorter time
or would slower longer run be better?

any tips for burning of the beer belly would be great.

cheers chaps

thats quite interesting that, you burn more caleries working harder but not the ones you need to burn.

so i guess something like an exercise bike at home would work well as it'll get the heart going but not to fast and you can keep it going for a long time just while watch telly or something.

cheers for the link mate

You can't lose fat in specific places, anyone who says you can is lying! Some exercises will tone up certain areas, possibly giving the impression that you're losing weight there, but the fact is your weight goes on and comes off in ways you have NO control over.

crosstrainers one of the best as it tones and you burn at the same time

Fast or slow doesn't really matter to a certain extent. Calories burnt are calories burnt.
