Toning up around the mid section and chest
I've been going to the gym on average twice a week for about 5 months and im quite happy with the results in my arms, legs and general fitness.
But.. I can't see any improvement in my stomach or chest. Desperately trying to lose the beer belly and man boobs
Ive cut out all chocolate and crisps that i used to eat at work, and now snack on fruit. What should i now be doing for gains in these areas?
How many sit-ups a day should i aim for? If that is the best way to go?
I've just finished a part time job i had at the weekends so that will give me an extra day at the gym a week.

After reading through some peoples workouts on here i decided to change mine last night. Hope you don't mind using your workouts as plans
Now doing 12 reps on a medium weight, 10 on a heavy, and then 8 on the maxium weight i can do on each of the stands instead of 2 sets of 12 with a heavy weight.
Also mixed in some time on the rowing machine aswell as the usual warm up on the bike but that nearly killed me!
Needless to say at the end of it i was fucked Felt good though
The workout has now gone from about 1 hour to 1 hour 30. I just feel like i should fit in some more cv
If i went 3 times a week, should i look to do something like light cv and weights on the 1st day, heavy cv and a few weights on the 2nd day and then back to light cv and weights on the 3rd day?
